I was wondering how you would quilt the folded dahlia quilt? Do you go around the dahlia or through it?

that is a good question. the only thing that I can think of is you could do a quilt as you go and where you fold and mark all of those lines you could sew all three layers the same size as the flower will be then when it is done you could sew around the flower and maybe a few vines in the blank areas. it would be great as a quilt as you go though. I had decided to make one but hadn't thought about the quilting of it. I'll probably make some of them into throw pillows for Christmas gifts.
