    Default Quilting design?

I made a quilt for my dad for Christmas. It is Miss Rosie's Domino pattern using Wool & Needle II flannel charms. Since it's for my dad I don't want anything too flowery or girly. What would you all recommend? Thanks, All!!

I don't know why I don't see your picture, just a red X. I don't know if your Domino is similar to falling charms. Choosing how to quilt the quilt depends on your ability. If you want it simple, I could just cross hatch the quilt (diagonal lines) Your Dad is really going to love it because you made it especially for him!

Hand or machine quilting? I saw a great quilt posted on QB that had different sized squares in an all over design done by a long arm quilter. Something like that might work.

He'll still love it even if the pattern does seem girly. Go with what you think is best.

It is going to be quilted on a LA but my friend is a little stumped too.
ManicQuilter2 - This Domino pattern is similar to a card trick pattern.

If all else fails, try stitch in the ditch or echo. Or maybe stars.

I love Miss rosie patterns !! that on is perfectly masculine, and in flannel, lovely. Sorry I can't see your picture. The fabric looks very masculine - think hunting cottage. I would do some echoing of the patterns, like a repeat of the little design thing, or just all over plaid - cross lines at different widths to echo the plaids, and line it up with the pattern blank spaces so it makes the overall pattern look plaidish.
