    I second that, Its great to know that in times of frustration, happiness and all the others in-between we have wonderful friends thu our wonderful hobby....

    If I had known how much I would enjoy quilting I would've started 45 years ago! :-) Seriously though i know what you mean. I used to cross stitch and loved it but...it was something to fill my time. Dh worked out of town and once the kids went to bed i had NOTHING to do.....no internet back then. But now...oh quilting is my stress relief. And lately life has been stressful!

    Hi For the people who wrote and said that they didn't know many quilters. If you have a quilt quild near you, joining is one way to meet quilters. Many stores have flyers that give dates for quilt shows, put on by quilds. Go to the shows and most times you can sign up to join the quild. Going to classes at quilt stores is also a great way to meet other quilters. Marilu
