Oh wow, sorry to hear about your thumb, but hope you have a speedy recovery. I wondered why I hadn't heard from you in awhile, but sounds like you managed the all important thing by heading to the kitchen & didn't bleed on the fabric :-) - just kidding. Maybe this'll get you out of cleanup on Thanksgiving. :-D Have a great holiday.

Many times I've come very close to my fingers with my rotary cutter--nowadays when I cut I check where my fingers are before I move the cutter.

My cousin Anne cut off the first joint of her right index finger as a teenager when she got it trapped in mixer beaters just for a second when she was making cookies! Ow!

Sorry to hear about your accident... a little Thanksgiving turkey should help the healing process though! We have to be careful with those rotary cutters!!

Sorry to hear this, BUT it is a REMINDER to us all. Rotary Cutters are NOT TOYS..... Hope the healing process goes well.

Be Careful using Neosporin. When I cut my leg last May, it was recommended I use Neosporin. After use of about a week, the wound became more inflamed than at the beginning. Still they recommended Neosporin. Used for about another 2 weeks. Wound worse. Took tests. Results: Allergic to Neosporin. It caused a deep burn which is still healing. If your wound gets redder and redder, it is not inflamation from the cut, it is a burn from Neosporin.

We did this with my granddaughter when she fell off her bike and had stitches in her face. As a matter of fact we put the neosporin on from the getgo and she does not have any trace of scarring.
