Goals are a good idea Tallchick.
I really want to get my sewing room organized. It is a disaster right now and it takes away from my pleasure in using my new machine. The hard part is that whenever it gets sort of organized, I feel so good in there that I want to play instead of tidy.
I have a lovely new machine with lots of bells and whistles that I need to get acquainted with. Hopefully we get along.
I enjoy using my EQ but I hope to spend some time working back through all of the lessons that I have saved up.
I see we all love to buy too much fabric so I am not alone in planning to bring home less new fabric this year. I am not sure where to put it any more.

Quit dragging my feet with so many excuses for not finishing up a tote full of UFOs.

I am going to try to make a kit a month, have 13 lined up, one month is going to get 2 to make up. I bought too many Craftsy bargains this year. Couldn't resist.

I also want to master ruler quilting on my longarm. And I want to get better at FMQ on it. I love my ProStitcher Premium and need to try out all the bells and whistles.

I have put myself on a fabric moratorium till I can reduce the stash.

Such inspiration from all. Yes, I want to do all those things too, and God gives us the same amount of time in which to do it. I seem to waste more time than others. The UFO list is slightly shrinking. But I opened a closet yesterday that I had not peered into for several months.....more fabric. Where did this come from? And what looks like a complete set of Quilter''s Newsletter......in binders. Who needs some?

I was able to finish up many UFO’s this year but I would like to get the rest of them done in the new year. Most of those are vintage tops that I have been given and need to be finished up. I would like to use more of my scraps which are mostly already cut into useable sizes. Also want to move a huge unit out of the sewing room and replace it with hung cabinets in that freed up space. Need extra help moving it however. It is VERY heavy. Besides this, just sew, sew, sew!

My goal is to join a quilt along starting in Jan and sticking with it. Does anyone have any suggestions on one that I could join?

    !) Reduce UFO's
    2) Budget $500 for new fabric to
    3) Eliminate at least one scrap bin. This last is a lofty goal I've had for years!! This is going to be the year I do it! Yes, it is!!

I will start by cleaning my sewing room and making donation quilts in January. Then I will sew and enjoy my hobby. I will try to shop less and sew more. Will that happen? Doubtful!

I found a Bargello pattern I liked, checked my fabric for colors I wanted, found I only needed to buy three more to fill in the gaps. So, 2019 a Bargello it is, my first!!!
