Quilting Green: What do I do with the "odd" bits?

if you don't want to sew them up into something: we gather all the various scraps and snippets into old pillowcases. When the case is full, sew it shut and donate it to the animal shelter to use as a bed. We even throw thread bits and all trimmings into the pillow case. I also put in holey socks and anything else soft.

I agree with some of the others, use the pockets for a whimsical quilt or wall hanging for storage.

I like the idea of attaching all the pockets to a fabric , use a few cuffs as hangers for a dowel and you have a wall hanging catchall for a kid's room, a girl's accessories collection or a workroom stash spot for small items. If they are basic little prints or solids, with a bit of applique or embroidery, it would make a cute thing to attach next to a changing table for all the bits and pieces needed for babies.

So many creative people here and yet I had another idea how about an old jeans quilt they have made them with old jean pockets but shirt pockets would be more colorful then line with flannel no batting needed
