    The top for my MIL quilt is finally done but have no idea on hand quilting design. Any ideas.....

    I see some curvy design in each of the center squares of the block. Maybe something different in the blue ones and another in the green (?) ones. I would also do some in-the -ditch to hold everything in place.

    This is what I would do:
    on the block with the blue centers, a flower in the blue square and cross hatch or zigzag on the print.

    On the block with the print center, a flower (either the same as the blue square or different.) Outline the small squares and rectangles.

    On the 2 narrow borders, just stitch in the ditch.

    On the wider outer border, feathers. I love feathers!

    Hope this gives you some ideas. I also like a shell on outer borders.

    It is a beautiful quilt.
