If you like to design using a graphic program, I highly recommend TouchDraw. It has layers, objects, grids, and all kinds of goodies. I've used it to come up with a neat layout for a Card Trick quilt I hope to post in a few days. PM me if you have any questions!

I've recently discovered how to download podcasts on the Ipad. There are many videos on quilting (most free) & I found a bunch on Bernina stuff, the software, the 830 machine & Bernina in general. I downloaded about 6 or 8 yesterday. I can watch them on the Ipad while I'm working on either the software on the computer or on the 830 machine (its supposed to be out of the shop on Wed.). Some of you may already know this, but its new to me & I wanted to share. If you go to ITunes, click on "podcasts" & search for quilting, it will bring up a bunch of stuff. click on your choice & it will bring up a list of videos that are available, just choose which one to download. Click on the particular episode & it will show what that one is about. Happy Quilting!

My DH hooks our IPAD up to his Droid phone so we can use the IPAD anywhere (it's the WiFi version without 3G). I was on QB the other night when we were driving home from visiting our daughter at college and even posted!
It was very cool! I love technology.
