    Default Quilting with machine embroidery

I just got a new Janome 350E machine embroidery and I would like to incorporate some embroidery designs into my quilts. I've already seen how to make a design, put it into a square and make a quilt but would be very interested in seeing something with more imagination. Does anyone have any suggestions?

ive just had replies so ill pass on what i learned ----make the blocks about 2 inches bigger on each side than you need to finish up with[to allow for shrinkage] but keep the embroidery within the finished block size

I have successfully use the churn & dash with the embroidery in the center of the block ..you need a pattern with a 12 inch block and have a 6 1/2 " center square. Some of the star blocks lend themselves to this pattern as well. I have a Janome 11000
