OK so here's my thinking....I always have a subscription going with quite a few books. SO last year when I got renewals, most had a free gift I could give to someone and I do.

But how many of us take advantage of those offers?

If I get one to buy one get one free....you can divide the one by two and someone else get one for half...or do a gift.

If I get one to buy mine and get others for 5.00. I use as many as they give me for gifts.
When they get renewals specials, they can pay it forward.

What's the odds of lots of people getting half price renewals.♥♥

Now that would save everyone money. I love my quilt mags and this way, it makes it worth it.

Just got a renewal for one I gave to a member here and with it for 15.00 I can get another for 5.00. I just think it is good to take advantage and make someone else smile.

Anyone else think too much like me?

I think thats a great idea, why not use them, they were given to us and someone else may not be able to afford a subscription, Good thinking Debbie

I say "Good Thinking"! I'll have to consider this as well. Thanks for the idea!

I think like you, Debbie, my "gifts" go to family members and close friends who wouldn't receive the subscriptions any other way.:)

I think exactly like you, but don't have anyone to give the free or reduced price subscription to.

I have renewed in the past and not been able to take advantage of the free gift.

Janetm - just come here. Post it and split the cost and whalah.....two happy people who get half price subcriptions. Win..win.

Most ignore them when they come in, especially when they start renewing you right after you start getting them. LOL. I have to write down when I re-new so keep up. Otherwise I would have 2-3 coming. Marketing strategies....really?

I'll do that. Don't you hate it when 2 months in, they want you to renew. My Mom at one time had 5 + years of Ladies Home Journal coming to her house because she would just pay the invoice. I think they are hoping we will just pay without knowing our expiration date.

How are you feeling Deb? I hope you are feeling better each day.
