    quiltmaker, different quilts and different levels of difficulty. I know which ones to attempt and which ones to shy away from for now

    I like magazines for new techniques and inspiration only, not necessarily patterns. I've not looked at a whole lot of magazines but the two that I like are AQS and Quilting Arts.

    American Patchwork and Quilting along with several of the Aussie mags...not sure of their titles right now.
    I have stopped all subscriptions for now as I have so many books, patterns and magazines that I hardly ever look at in my stash right now! LOL
    Also the internet gives so much access to what is new that unless I am traveling and need some reading material or notice something that catches my eye I rarely buy them any more.

    I love almost all of them. That's why I go to my local Barnes & Noble to get fancy coffee and browse the quilting mags. Then I can select which one I want to buy.

    Also get great fancy coffee and use my son's discount.
