    I would definitely not to an overall fmq over an applique. There are other quilters out there. Take this quilt and try another quilter this time. There are some good ones on this board. They are reasonably priced and occasionally have specials. If you post a picture of your quilt you might get some ideas for how to quilt it. What designs to use etc.

    I agree, accent applique with its only quilting ...but do not overall quilt it...let it stand on it own...if anything I would tend to echo quilt it.
