Hi, everyone, this post inspired my transformation from a lurker to a member! I enjoyed reading your comments about Doreen. She is my cousin, our moms were sisters so our families were with each other quite a lot. My plan was to take lessons from her after I retired, but, alas, she didn't wait for me. So now I'm learning from all of you!

I don't know who this special lady is (was)! I will look on YouTube videos to see if she has any postings.
Oh..... I remember peaky and spike but didn't remember the ladies name......sorry.
And yes to a like button!

I never got to take a class with her either, but I have her Peaky and Spike templates. I like the quote! About 10 years ago her daughter displayed some of her quilts here and was selling them. I was so tempted to buy one as a remembrance but unfortunately they were quite pricey.

Hello JoynMN! How nice to hear that you are now a part of this wonderful community! And hopefully you share your quilting adventures with us....I leaned a lot from your Aunt, but never had the good fortune of meeting her in person. Always enjoyed her sense of humor!
