    Smile Quilting retreat

Dear all, I need your help.

I am going a weeks quilting retreat with 6 friends. One friend always does pillow presents, so every night when you go to bed there is a little gift - could be a chocolate, a pattern, or something small and inexpensive. I would like to try an do something when we go -Any ideas?

How about one of those one hour boxes with a selection of boiled sweets for the journey and then use the box for ????

How about a mug rug, or a pretty, embellished tea towel?

Personally, I'd be giving each of them a bottle of their favorite wine, so you could have refreshments before a meal, or at the end of the day. I do love my wine.

I have a retreat and made or bought (it is at Valentine's Day):
Little bags with peppermint candies in them.
A cookie cutter for each plate.
A piece of Lorielie lady fabric. One yard had over 21 lady blocks so each woman gets one to craft into something for next year.
    A needlebook made with selvages.
    A neck cooler.
If I am really bored this winter, I might make book covers.

I plan on something for the dinner plate for each evening meal.

Fresh fruit with a ribbon around the stem. I know when I travel, I eat richer foods than usual so something plain, simple and sweet would taste great.

Good one, but wine is free flowing - we do sew = honest!

How about seam rippers, specialty chocolates, a pretty fat eighth or quarter, a little quilting related bookmark, charm, or doorknob hanger, a small notebook/journal with a pen, hmmm wish I was going too. It sounds like you will have a wonderful time!
