This is the signature of someone on here - I'm REALLY sorry, I don't remember who!

    Quilters are warm people.

I love the double meaning of it! And it's true to boot! :-D

    Just a few,

A family is a patchwork of love

    Anytime is Stitchin time

As ye Sew, sew shall ye rip

Behind every Quilter is a huge pile of fabric

Blessed are the piecemakers for they shall quilt forever

Good friends are like quilts, they age with you, yet never loose their warmth

My husband lets me buy all the material I hide!

    and one of my favorites!
I got a new sewing machine for my husband, Good trade huh?

This is kind of long, but every quilt I give as a gift I put these in with it.

How Much Like A Quilt We Are

Some of us are bright and gay; some are quieter, more delicate and subdued.
Yet, how well we blend together.
The quieter ones set off the colorful,
The brighter ones accentuate the pastels.
Often, the more fragile pieces hold the sturdy ones together.
Blessed are we to be varied.
All of us are stitched with Love and tied to one another.
Reap the benefits of your sewing -
Baste consideration into your life -
Hem up disagreements and embellish it all with Love.
May there always be work for your hands to do
May your purse always hold a coin or two
May the sun always shine on your windowpane
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain
May the hand of a friend always be near you
May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.
The best kind of sleep beneath Heaven above -
Is under a quilt Handmade with Love.

    Another one --

    Life Is Like A Quilt

Life is like a patchwork quilt
And each little patch is a day.
Some patches are rosy, happy and bright
And some are dark and grey.

But each little patch as it's fitted in
And sewn to keep it together,
Makes a finished block in this life of ours
Filled with sun and rainy weather.

So let me work on Life's patchwork quilt
Through the rainy days and the sun
Trusting that when I have finished my block
The Master may say, "Well Done."

I don't know who these were written by, but I do cherish them. I hope you keep them with you as I do
