Which Quilting Software Does This?
#1
Which software programs allow you to:
- Add your own fabrics (or a line, like Moda Simplicity) to the fabric library to use in the software's quilt blocks?
- Draw a block if necessary
- Tilt blocks on point
- Show the entire quilt layout with different blocks (like a sampler)
I looked at EQ7, but it's a little spendy for me. Are there other software programs that allow you to do this?
Which is the lowest version of EQ that allows you to do the fabric image imports? I think 6 does, but what about 5? I'd love to find an old version somewhere that works for me for a decent price, if you have any ideas, please let me know. I'd like to hear about other software options as well.
Thanks SO much! I love this board :)

As far as I understand, EQ 5 & 6 will allow you to scan a fabric and the use it, EQ7 will let you take a digital pic of it and then use it. Also, 5 and 6 will only allow you to use on 3 different 'puters, and I think that 7 will be unlimited. If I have that wrong, perhaps someone else will put us right.

Thanks for the replies so far! :) I looked up Electric Quilt 5 hoping it would be much cheaper, but I can't find it for less than $100. :( Thanks for answering my questions on EQ features. I'll check out the QuiltSoft link, Shibori, thanks!

I use Quilt Pro version 5. It does everything you mentioned and it is currently on sale for $99.95 I originally bought QP4 used on ebay and upgraded to QP 5 when it came out.
