    Default Pic of YBR quilt

Here's a pic of my YBR quilt. I meandered and it turned out nice. The colors are very feminine but the green in the pic is much darker looking in the pic than in real life. I don't think this pic really does the pattern justice.

I like Prism's wave idea because your fabrics are more modern looking. Good luck in your effort. Would like to see a pic of the finished quilt. - Stitch124

I've done diagonal wavy lines going from corner to corner on the big squares. It's very forgiving and, because it's a wavy line rather than a straight line, you don't have to hit the corners exactly.

I suggest using the serpentine stitch( a very forgiving stitch) with your walking foot. Its a wavy stitch and will soften some of the hard lines of the quilt. I would quilt across the quilt diagonally. Maybe use a variegated thread that has some of the colors.
    Love your YBR.

My suggestions are to either use a serpentine stitch going diagonally across the quilt, both directions. Or if you want to be adventurous try a large meander/stipple stitch all over the quilts. Or loops all over.
Variegated threads are my favorite for quilting.

I can't wait to see what you create when you work on "quilts that I am more excited about".
Cross hatching has been my go-to when I don't know what to do. It seems to work with a lot of designs. The painters' tape works well. I also use the - hmmm, what's it called?-- the bar that attaches to the back of the walking foot to space the rows of stitching.

I love your choice of fabrics and colors. YBR has been on my bucket list for a long time.
