    Many, but not all, Muslims would be uncomfortable with images of animate/sentient beings. But red is fine for Muslims. Some conservative Muslim ladies wouldn’t *wear* red, but that doesn’t mean it’s an unwelcome color in home decor.

    Maybe some refugees exposed to horrific violence would be bothered by a lot of red, but there’s no religious prohibition against the color in general.

    Don’t obsess over it. I’m sure they’ll be grateful for whatever you provide.
