White actually goes with anything. I, too, use a lot of white on white. IMHO it gives a little pizzaz to the quilt. Here is two links for items I posted with white as well a three random blocks from my Christmas quilt that is a WIP.

The white in quilts is so nice, that is on my list, too. I know the vintage fabrics are nice with white, plan on sewing a Dresden plate and using white under the plates. Of course, I like the quilts with a bit of black too....like too much.
