    Hi All,

A brilliant update........ I have found a supplier in the UK who doesn't have the ruler in stock at the moment but she will by the time the festival of quilts is on, so I will get one then!!!! I can't wait......... now I need somebody in the UK who stocks the Jinny Beyer 60 degree diamond ruler and I will be a happy bunny!

Hugs to all and a special thanks to RegGarnet22 for thinking of me!

Deb Tucker's tools are fantastic, however, pricey and if you have the one ruler you should be good to go. Enjoy!

Good because it is not the size of the blocks you are making--the technique that you are learning. Than you can decide if you really want to make larger blocks. That would be a good time to borrow a larger ruler if you must make the larger sizes.

A few years back a tutorial on the board showed how to make the Hunter's Star without a specialty ruler. I used her method to make two of the quilts (and taught others at a couple retreats). Here's the link.

Default A very easy Hunters Star Quilt Pattern

I made two very beautiful Hunter Star Quilts with a easy pattern by Peggy Gelbrich, email is: [email protected] All you do is cut the strips with a regular ruler that you have, I drew lines on my strips so I would sew them correctly and put them together. If you want I could send you the instructions and you will just be amazed at the beautiful quilt you will have with these easy instructions. Not the hard instructions everyone seems to be using. Hope this works for you.
