Just another guy who places no value on the amount of time a female has to work on something. Ask him what he would charge to do similar work on a car? Maybe he'll get a clue.
I pointed it out to my uncle once when I gave him a quilt in exchange for some car work. Clearly, he didn't consider it equivalent. After I told him how much the materials were and the number of hours spent just to TIE the quilt, he got it. I love my uncle, but it is so common for men to devalue the work that women do.
