Hi, I am looking for a pattern for fleece stockings for kids. My guild makes a giving tree for Christmas. I usually make fleece hats, scarfs and mittens. would like to add fleece stocking to keep their feet warm as well. Any one know of a pattern to download or free pattern/tuit available? Thanks Happy Holidays to all.

Clotilde just had one in their catalog. Look them up (downloadable if I remember correctly but not free though...)

A few years ago there was a pattern in Hacock's free fleece patterns they give every year. I don't know if I have it anymore, but someone might.

Thanks for the info. I did see a pattern at JoAnn's but it was $10...too much for me. I kind of think I could just make a tube sock but unsure if that will work well for the kids. Has any one made them? Do you need the shaping? I have an old fleece book from Hancock's but no socks and Hancock's closed up here in the middle of the mitten. Will have to keep looking. Thanks for your input.

I have used this pattern for a few years. It is pretty easy and my kids like them.

I have never used the "grippy" fabric for the bottom, I just use fleece.

Thanks oatw13. for the pattern. Wonder if you did any scaling to downsize the pattern or used it as it came to me? The pieces came two to each page. Did you ever make them for adults (some of the grade school kids are the size of adults) I won't know the sizes of the shoes or feet of the kids so would like to make some of larger sizes as well. Thanks again for the pattern. Know the socks will warm them well.
