Reading Quilters Question
#1
When i want to unwind at night i like to read as many of us do. I have read all the Elm Creek Quilter Books and loved them all. I really enjoy stories that involve quilters in some way. Do any of you know of any other books or authors that write like that? I have looked at the library but i want to get some insight from those who understand quilters and who better than those on this quilting board! Any suggestions??

Try Emilie Richards Shenandoah Album Series; Endless Chain, Lover's Knot, Sister's Choice, Touching Stars. There may be more. I checked Barnes and Noble. Can probably get them from Amazon or Alibris books too. I have purchased used books from all 3 sources and they are in good condition.

Just received an awesome book today from my Secret Pal..."The Quilt of Life, A Patchwork of Devotional Thoughts" by Mary Tatem. Got started reading and kept going to page 88 before deciding I really should leave some of it for later, as it is intended as two or three pages a day!

Definitely Marie Bostwick. She draws you in and makes you feel like you are part of the circle. As soon as you finish the first one you want to immediately pick up the next. And that's exactly how I feel reading The Elm Creek series.
