Who can count the times we all have TRIED for organize our scraps? I have spent hours.
Then a friend sent a link to Bonnie Hunter's blog. She writes a column for QuiltMaker magazine. http://quiltville.blogspot.com/
What a terrific system. Simple, straight forward and just what I have been looking for. You might want to check this one out.
Here are some blocks etc I made just after starting her method. So far I have cut only 2.5" widths, because that is my favorite scrappy size.
Since I have family who were in the general path of the Alabama tornadoes, I am sending some giveaway quilts to them to distribute. These pictures are from some of those quilt.

I have purchased an Altos Quilt Cut 2 from Star 619 here on the Board and as soon as I get it I am going to start cutting strips using Bonnie's method. With as many scraps as I have I ought to get plenty of practice and be a pro in a few days. (I hope). Congrats on getting those scraps under control.
