Default Received my Missouri Star order today

It was a large box. I took it to my husband and said open this and take out the big package that says KIT on it. Wrap it and put under the tree with my name on it. He said you bought it you know what it is but okay. I do know what the kit is but haven't seen one in person or the fabric. I know I'll be excited to open it. He said what about the other items in the box? I said oh that is stuff I need, nothing to wrap. And don't bend Chuck the Duck.

Sounds like the best way to be sure to get what you want. My husband, ever a bargain hunter (he prides himself on being cheap - yes, cheap), used to get me something that was kind of, sort of, like what I'd asked for. He's bought a TV for the bedroom (I never wanted one, still don't, but he did) and an air fryer (same, didn't want it, don't use it, but he did and does) even after I said no more exchanging gifts. Thus, I do not feel at all guilty about getting what I want for myself.

"Don't bend Chuck" made me smile. I keep mine in one of those spool things with a clip on top, meant to hold a photo. Yesterday I bumped the shelf it was on and it fell to the floor. My immediate response was, "Oh, no! Chuck fell!" Silly little things that make us happy.

Told my hubby that I wanted a gift certificate to my local quilt shop. If he bought me the $150 certificate it came with a punch card to get 1 yd of fabric free every month. He said ok so I bought it online and handed it to him to wrap. Total winner now that fabric is around $15 a yard and he will get new quilts too.

    Feeling very cheated here. 😆

When did the Flat Chucks start? There was no Chuck in my batting order, and that was September!

Unless (oh no) DH unboxed it and didn’t see him? GRRRRR.

Guess it’s time to order again. 😈

    hugs,
    charlotte

I just got my quilt back from the longarmer. It's that seed packet quilt- Kaffe Fassett- I'm keeping it. I absolutely love it!

Oh, my! I haven't bought a kit, but that Kaffe seed packets quilt is a winner. I absolutely love it. Confused about Chuck, though...

Chuck is a cardstock cut out of the MS mascot. He is dressed in different way according to the event or season. Just a cute marketing item. He can get lost in the packing paper and not noticed.

Here is the one I got dressed for winter.
