    Default Recognize this anyone?

Found this on Pinterest this morning and it looks very interesting to me. Followed the little icon for additional information, but the name of this block pattern wasn't listed. If anyone knows the name of the pattern or a book it's in please let me know.

Looks like a fun project! I couldn't find any similar quilts by other makers, but going through the quilter's (Leween Durr) other projects I did find a couple of hints. One that it is foundation pieced. She has another top where the blocks aren't arranged in a circle called "Alice in Wonderland" and a tag of Japanese quilting. Maybe someone else can sleuth this out further.

I would think it would be pretty simple to draft out, as well as to sew with all straight lines. The two opposing diagonal corners would be the same size. There are 7 fan blades including the two ends that are background. The blades are not all the same size, it looks to me like the first print fabric blades on either side and the middle are the same, but the blades on either side of the center are slightly narrower.

Don't know the name, but I like it in the 30's prints. Appears paper pieced.

Iceblossom....I came up with the same answers that you did for everything except that it was paperpieced. Maybe I need to investigate further today. I'd really llove to make this.

That is very pretty and another way to use up my huge stash of strings. I hope you can sleuth out and share a pattern name. Otherwise I think I'll have to try drafting it myself. Thanks for posting the link.

I’m curious too, as to what it is named.

Like many others, this one caught my eye ... and I went down that proverbial internet rabbit hole ISO.
    Nope ... no positive results!

Easy enough to create your own PPing pattern.
Just enlarge the picture to the size you want!

And presto .... with any luck, within just a couple of days,
GingerK will have a finished quilt for all of us to drool over!! 😜

Pour Moi ... I'm particularly entranced with the blue version.
And I just happen to have a gazillion blues from my DJ quilt!!

Ha!! I kept thinking I had seen this--or something similar--somewhere. Here's a link to the 'something similar'.

If anyone was going to recreate the block in the original post, GingerK's block from Quilter's Cache would be a good start! Good detective work all.
