    What a beauty! Putting in a cedar chest seems such a sad way to "save" this treasure. I am glad you have rescued it from storage as it is too beautiful to be put away and never appreciated.

    I have never considered using the flying geese for sashing. It is beautiful and there was certainly a LOT of work put into it. Glad that you can display it

    Striking pattern and a beauty! The longer I look at it the more simple the pattern begins to break down. I guess I am starting to think like a quilter.
