I see a beautiful quilt but I also see that the flying geese sashings have the point cut off them.

How lovely! Feathered star was the first thing that came to my mind (a block I have not attempted so far LOL!)

A beautiful quilt!!! Can see why it won first place.

Please try not to hang your quilt for long periods of time as it will get misshappened, the batting will begin to sag and make it look old. I have been advised to put mine on a bed for show and to turn it every few weeks to keep its shape and color even.

If you do hang your quilt, again someone advised me, be sure to turn it at least bi monthly so as to keep the batting from shifting and color changing unevenly.

    Again, so beautiful!!!
