I have a Janome 15000 that I bought used and I can combine patterns with fonts by using the software Embrilliance. It takes some time to learn how to use the software, but you can make just about any pattern and put a name or number into the pattern. I love Janome because my LQS sells and services them and gives lots of classes and instructions. I think the most important thing is the size of the embroidery frame and a good dealer who will help you.

"EpicStitch" is web-based embroidery digitizing machine that offers industrial strength and an integrated system to the decorated products industry for embroidery with heat tranfer and screan printing.

My desire is to get one that has the capability to scan in a design. However I don't want to break the bank either.

Thanks in advance for your assistance!
I purchases a Brother embroidery machine at an estate sale, it had very few stitches and only 2 years old. I have been very happy with it. I read the book and my first design was perfect. This machine is very easy to use. I would buy a Brother machine again. I think the right stabilizer is very important. If you are the type of person that needs lots of help, then check what dealer has classes.

Right now I have a Brothers machine that is limited to a 4" design. My Other machine is out of service right now. It is an older Janome. I need to take it in for service soon. I still get a lot out of my smaller machine but have been looking around tor another machine too, I have been taking every one's advice to be sure I go to a dealer where I can get good service.

Janome is a heavy lightweight machine and a long-lasting product, and also gives better stitches quality.
