    Hi,

I'm visiting the greater Phoenix area and wondered if any of the board members living in this area can recommend one or quilt shops to visit. I won't have enough time to visit all of them.

    thanks. :)

Not sure on how far you are willing to drive but if you have an hour or so to kill and want a pretty drive... Payson is about an hour maybe an hour from Mesa. It's a wonderful drive. Very pretty and one of the best quilts store's I have seen.

    Quilters Outpost
    904 N Beeline Hwy # E, Payson, AZ 85541-3768

    (928) 468-6360 ‎

it's well worth the drive and the ladies that work there are just wonderful.

Really try to get to Mulqueens, if you can. They have a huge selection, and most fabrics are $6.95 yrd, batiks are a little more. No, I don't work there - wish I did though.
