I am following along makeing a lap size out of fabric left from other projects. It goes really quickly. I have the top all pieced and ready for borders. Very pretty, I only wish I had had enough fabric to make mine bigger.

The link on your website to download the boarders tutorial isn't working, or am I doing something wrong?

I can't attach either using the link to the website.

There are actually two links: one direct link from the website, and another from Google docs. I have tested them (and had somebody else on another computer test, too) and they both work. Are you getting an error message. Try right-clicking on the link and saving to your computer.

Moving along with this project, we are now at the point where you will need to decide whether to mark your quilt top now, not at all, or after sandwiching. In any case, I thought you might enjoy some made-to-fit quilting stencils for this
project. Run over to my blog for the file!

Have you had enough time to piece your quilt top and add your borders? Then it is time to start putting your quilt sandwich together and start the quilting process. But before that, you have to decide what kind of backing to use. I've posted some links to some fun ideas on my blog:

How are you doing with this project? Ready to start putting your quilt together for the quilting process? I have now posted a method on my blog that I use to reduce the bulk of the batting on large quilts, to make my machine quilting easier. Maybe this will be helpful for you, too:

We're almost at the end of this project. I am loving my finished quilt... how about you? You probably have a favorite method for binding your quilts. Just in case, I have posted some tips as to how I handle attaching a binding on the machine with a blanket or decorative stitch. I hope you enjoy this post:
