As my grandma used to say, "Well, would you looky there!" Very clever.

Rose the knife is a generic store brand up here in Canada. The PC stands for President’s Choice which is the type sold at the Superstore. I like to buy inexpensive peeling knives($2) and sharpen them when they get dull or buy a new one.

I love your idea. I am always looking for ways to reuse things and always like seeing how others use theirs.

I save batting scraps for stuffing or to make quilted ornaments.

Super! Don't you love it when you find a new use for something that works this well? I live for those moments, lol!
