Saddle bags or handlebar totes for MEN who use walkers. The vets in the VA love them. I also use old camos for this, too (which is permitted use of an old uniform).

While I use denim all the time for repurposed items, I was wondering, what is YOUR favorite thing to use old jeans, jumpers and skirts to make?

I love shopping bags! and rugs!
I have a few things that I've made using denim...will post some tomorrow...haven't seen anything posted on here yet like what I made.

Sorry to keep you waiting, I wasn't able to get on the computer till now. I am posting a jacket (black jeans, quilted sleeves, embroidery on pockets--front & back), vest (medium denim & using some kids jeans for all the decorated sparkly stuff added to it--front & back), vest (white denim & I did applique & embroidery on it--front & back).

VickiM, now that was well worth the wait. I love how you used the waist band for the bottom of your jacket. All of your work is beautiful. Wow. Thank you for posting. :-D

I used the legs below the knees (which were worn out) from one pair of jeans, I think. Cut them open along one seam so that I had two large rectangles, folded up the bottom hem to make pockets, and sewed the two halves together, leaving a hole in the middle so that it would go over the gas cap.
