There are some panel that are pre-printed that you do Redwork on top of. There is an American Redwork club that may have some free patterns on their site? Any simple line drawing (colouring book)can be turned into a pattern for Redwork embroidery.

When I'm looking for something unfamiliar, I use "Google Images". When I see an attractive picture, I go to the website to find out more.

Here are some nice designs by some ladies who ran a quilt retreat I went to two years ago. http://berkshirequilts.com/Redwork2.html I have the comfy kitties and playful kitties patterns, and they make me smile every time.
