Did they judge the homemade wine just prior to your quilt? And there were a LOT of wine entries that year?

Love the quilt and LOVE the label on the back all the way down to the stitching you used to attach it and the "ragged" edges! Did you make the label or did you get it somewhere?

Your quilt is lovely! It is original, colorful and made with heart. So what if "judges" don't like it.
My quilts do not pass muster when entered into quilting contests. So, I just don't enter them. However, they DO sell, even before they see a quilting hoop, for $300 to over a thousand dollars! That seems a lot better than a blue ribbon to me.
Quilting is a gift to you. Time to creat something and relax. It really doesn't matter whether anyone else likes it - this is YOUR artistic endeavor. Quilt away!
