Could be because you had your name on the quilt. Here , at the Santa Cruz County Fair , a work ( like a picture) is rejected if it has the maker's signature on it .
This is in case one of the judges knows the creator of the work of art and favors that person .
Whatever the reason. it is a real fun quilt!!!

I few years ago i entered a quilt in "machine emb. " but the judges considered it"machine quilted". it was not considered for judging because they felt i had entered it in the wrong class. disappointing? yes, but it was ultimately MY responsibility to see it was entered correctly.
when you enter a competition you are asking for not only your work to be judged but be compared to similar work. If you're going to be offended by comments from the judges-don't enter. It's not a personnal attack.
