    I did one a couple years ago using all blue batiks and adding some red batik squares randomly. It breaks them up nicely.

    I to missed the original thread. What a great idea. I use the strip method for the back of my quilts, next time a nice contrast block will be added. Thanks for the idea.

    I guess that I also missed this. Clever way to add some zip to the jelly roll. I also appreciated the link to the Lyn Brown site. More ideas --just not enough time.
