    I'm definitely getting a vintage feel, but its the style of vintage with turquoise, cream, and grey tones (the muted purple is reading a little grey to me) that I see a lot of young brides wanting for their wedding colors, so its traditional but in a very current way.

    I prefer the blue as well. More soothing as someone else has commented . The blocks stand out on their own now without the distracting green color. Good job!

    Oh yes I agree, you did not say how you felt about it. Usually when we question our first choice we really find the perfect choice second around. Glad you reconsidered before you sewed
