Default Remember the lime green shashing?

Remember I had posted on here a few days ago asking opinions on my shashing choice of lime green? Well hubby (and everybody else) thought it didn't go. So now I am asking what everybody thinks of this blue I have. Before I go cutting it up what does everybody think about this blue color for the shashing? I think it looks okay. But I'm still not sure.

    After:

looking at it after I uploaded it to the computer it definitely looks much better then the green. What are your thoughts?

I like the blue. It does change the "feel" of the quilt to vintage/traditional. The lime green (because it is a solid and bright) made the quilt look more modern. I think the blue sashing goes better with the blocks, which are also more on the traditional side than modern.

I like the blue better. I liked the lime green but the intensity of it overwhelmed the blocks.

I like the blue, also. A lot better, with the blue. In away, it goes with the blue in your blocks also. With the lime green. It seems to stand out at me. Itseems to take away from your block. Go with the blue

I feel the same way Tartan.

Prism I feel like I lean more towards the look of "modern" quilts then traditional. But the lime just wasn't working. Maybe on my next project I can use up those lime pieces on a modern quilt

I prefer the blue. It has a calming effect on me. The green is a little too bright for the blocks.

That blue fabric really pulls the blocks together. Great choice!

I like the blue better as well. Not to completely throw you off but have you considered a pale pink? The same pale pink that is in blue print in the blocks? A solid will give the quilt a more modern appearance.
