you can use it for wrapping paper. It looks cute if you tie it with hemp or something natural looking.
I made small brag books out of paper bags. I sewed it down the middle to hold them together.

It really is stunning! My walls are old and warped and it helped hide some of the ugly that only a professional could repair. If you don't like the color, you can always paint over the top, and now you have a "textured" wall.

I use paper grocery sacks to free-hand draw out my original patterns on. The thickness is fine because I can pin the pattern to the fabric or lay it out and trace around it fairly easily. I've always got quite a few in the cupboard. Cheap & handy. :-)
