remove front batik dye from back??
Greeting all--I always share info from this board with my quilting group and they're always so impressed with the knowledge and ideas you all have. So....at today's meeting one of our group asked me to see if anyone here can help her:
In trying to remove a coffee stain from the back of her quilt, she inadvertently caused some dye from the batik front to soak through to the back. So now the coffee stain is gone, but there's a dye stain that soaked through from the front onto the back. Obviously, washing the quilt in any kind of dye remover will ruin the front. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
Any help will be gratefully appreciated.

What was used to remove the coffee stain? A solvent might have set the dye.
You can try just washing the quilt with color catchers. Be sure to use a machine that uses lots of water, like the large machines at a Laundromat.
