What about dawn dish liquid or any dish liquid with cold water? See if that helps. maybe an old toothbrush and gently scrub then rinse. Just a thought!

Try using a little hydrogen peroxide to take out the blood spot. It works great ! Trish

I have hear that if it is your own blood you can use your own spit to remove the stain. Don't know if it works.

Try Carbona. It comes in little yellow bottles, my JoAnns has it and also Albertsons in my area. They have special bottles for every stain: blood, ink, grass stains, etc. The best one is for fat, grease and oil. It's great on any greasy stain. I have used the one for blood on quilts where I have poked my finger as I was putting binding on.

I had blood on one of mine and have a bottle of peroxide by machine and just put alittle on it and blot until its all gone.

When I was working, nurse, and would get blood on white uniform I would use peroxide (H2O2) Wet the area, the rinse well. Worked everytime.

I have always wet the blood stain and then sprinkled with meat tenderizer and let it absorb the blood right out.

Consider the blood stain a signature of your own DNA. Blood will not come out of certain fabrics, so just live with it and laugh. I just finished a wedding quilt, black and white, for my niece. Yes I did get a blood stain and it would not come out. I pointed it out to her and told her to remember "a part of me was always near".
