Parchment paper takes off glue, just keep ironing on the glue spot over and over, and the paper will pick up all the glue. I took a class and we had to iron onto iron on interfacing which was adhesive on one side and then we realized we had glue on the bottom of the iron, that was a mess, the instructor gave each of us, a fairly large piece of parchment, and suggested we start ironing all the glue spots, in no time the glue mess was gone.
