I am in the process of making a photo memory quilt. I used T-Shirt transfer paper instead of PHOTO transfer paper to apply the photos to cotton fabric. I didn't know there was a difference!
Now as I am quilting, the photos are cracking and flaking off. I am trying to figure out how to remove the photos so I can reapply them with the PHOTO transfer paper. I used freezer paper as suggested by the photo dept. at Joann's - that took a tiny bit of the photo off but not enough. I have also tried using fusible interfacing to see if the photo would stick and "peel" off - no luck there. Seems now that I WANT to remove it, I can't get them off... LOL
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't know that you will be able to get it all to come off... It sounds like it has embedded into the fabric.

YOu might be able to save the project by making a new block with the right photo transfer and appliquing it on top of the bad one.

    Good luck.

I am hoping to get enough off that I can reprint over them with the photo transfer paper and not have THAT peel off.
