I bought one a couple of years ago and have not used it yet. It wasn't that much! Got it at Ken's Sew and Vac in Muscleshoals, Al. Think I paid about $250.00 for it. Same as in pic you showed us.
Have bought 2 machines from them and will continue to purchase things from them.
Also have 2 of the real thing.

Man ( who owns a large sewing store(sells Bernina,Janome,
and material + almost anything needed for sewing) told me
that the Featherweight sews the most perfect stitch of any
macine ever made....He has been in the business a long time
(sold me my Bernina) and knows the business well....so I have
to believe what he says is pretty reliable..
