    Please tell me, how did you pull the nails up out of the clasp pieces without damaging them (to get the liner underneath) and the bobbin holder tacs?

    Beautiful job! I've been wanting one of these boxes to go with my treadle machine for a long time. As a side note, I believe that the 1889 date on the boxes is the patent date...not the actual year of manufacture.
