Our guild has a retreat twice a year. It is held at a church campground. They feed you and you just quilt. We have from 50-70 people attend so you see lots of ideas. Take a small notebook to jot down the patterns, book names, etc. And don't forget your toothbrush and towel for showers. After over 8 years of retreats, someone still forgets things.

What absolute bliss that would be, no day to day stuff getting in the way. I should imagine you enjoy it immensely

I have a friend who goes on quilt retreats regularly, and she really enjoys them.
