I went to the Quilt Luminarium in Houston in February. Had a fabulous time and learned so much. Working on a top now that implements some of the things I learned. His supplies are wonderful and the dyed fabric is to die for. My poor SIL couldn't get near the fabric table as her allergies tuned up. I would surely recommend it. Great time.

I took his class the last time he was in Shipshewana. I took one of his tips to heart: When fmq on a domestic machine, no matter what size the quilt is, quilt it one pot holder at a time. It helped me relax and now I enjoy it so much more.
It was an awesome time. You will learn so much and laugh out loud while doing it.

Many years ago our guild had Ricky Tims. He was so funny when he talked about how he got into quilting (he had lost his job and used his grandmother's sewing machine.) I have one of his books. His directions are great. You will have a great time. Lucky you.

I Attended a Ricky Tims seminar a few years ago (with Alex Anderson and Libby Lehman). On of the most FUN and educational I've done. I'd go to another Ricky lecture or whatever if he ever gets back anywhere near me.
