    Good God, she came to work with her little car jammed full!
    So far I've counted 98.5 yards of just cottons!!!
    There's also 11 yards of a very pretty decorator fabric (she must have been planning on making curtains);
    20 yds of solid white or offwhite;
    6 yds of Wonder Under (hope it's still good!);
    2 bags of poyfil (always handy);
    1 queen size quilt batt (poyester);
    a big pile of large, half-square triangle quilt blocks in red/white & black/white plaids;
    some denim,
    some unbleached canvas,
    miles of muslin,
    A tiny Omnigrid traveling cutting mat, and
    several yards of fusible fleece.
    Coincidentally, this was given to me on my birthday!
    I'm still counting....I might be half way through the pile.
    I plan to wash & press....that should take me about a year!
    On the down side, DH is really ticked off. (Get over it.)
    Can anybody tell me what types of things people use fusible fleece for?

    Fantastic Windfall!! So happy for you :thumbup: re DH: make sure he has clean jammies, kiss him goodnight and tuck him in his "Bankie"......then go have fun!

    J.Davis you are just to funny! Happy Birthday, probably belated as I am never up on the current postings of the quilt board.

    Lucky you to have so many goodies, I have no idea where I would be able to squirrel even half that much stuff, but I would sure give it a good try. Enjoy it all.

    I'm not sure where this posting came from , but I thinks someone is a little mixed up! I'm not moving or downsizing, and still have a kid at home.

    DH should be jumping for joy that you did not "pay" for this much stuff!

    Fusible fleece is good for bags, I prefer Deco Bond. It is thinner and still gives a lot of support, but not "stiff".
