I get emails and coupons from Hancocks and JoAnn's when they have sales I buy a couple of each 28,45,60. But I don't go through them too much. I clean the blades before and after each use. Often if you just clean the blade of excess lint, I don't wait till I'm down to my last blade though. No further than I have to drive, I just go get them. But I buy with coupon and in quantity. Also Hancocks has 15% discount on Wednesdays for seniors. If you're not a senior but know one take her shopping with you and have her get them for you. May want to put her on a mailing list.

I just ordered a pkg of 45 mm. they are due to arrive today. will see what they are like. I have not ordered from them before but I found their website here on the board. they have lots of sewing notions etc and are not that high priced. I think a pkg of 10 blades was like 18.90 plus shipping of course. Handy to order on line instead of having to run to the store. I have heard others say they get the ordered thru Harbor Freight and they like them also. I have never dealt with them.

I have been using the carpet cutters blades from Harbor Freight. Some people have reported problems with them, but mine have all been super good, and they're only $1/blade. http://www.harborfreight.com/pack-of...des-97642.html
